Material(s) Used: Museum Board, Bristol Paper, Cardboard, and Concrete.
This project is an exquisite corpse of five notable LA homes: The Gehry Residence, The Norton House, Venice III, The 2468 House, and The Petal House. We each broke down our homes in fragments and then recombined them to create our final Frankenstein architecture.

We created 12 iterations of out of our fragments surrounding the shape of a pentagon. The first column on the left shows our fragments expanding from the center of the pentagon outwards. The second column shows our fragments expanding from the border of the pentagon outwards, and finally, the third column shows our fragments duplicating from the border of the pentagon inwards. To create our final model, we combined all three iterations of the third row. Below is the plan view of those combined elements. The left column is cardboard. The Middle is bristol paper, and the right is museum board.

The elements that overlapped within the pentagon were pushed below ground level to create a new floor. This part of the model is expressed by the concrete that the model rests on, where the empty space in the concrete represents this portion.
